Staging your Home
Ever wonder how you will ever get your home ready to sell and show all those buyers?
That's one of the many things we do...WE STAGE YOUR HOME and make it show ready before we list the home or take pictures. We will even make suggestions on painting a wall or two if thats in the budget.
Summertime, and the living's easy!
Until of course the heat kicks in...
And its feeling intolerable even in the shade.
Stay Safe  Avoid being active outdoors,  Watch for warning signs of heat exhaustion and heatstroke, especially in others since people affected are often not able to recognize the situation.  Symptoms include red skin, difficulty breathing, a rapid pulse, fainting, lack of sweating, and a body temp of 104 degrees or higher.  Try to cool the body and call 911. Apply ice packs to the neck, armpits, and groin and rotating ice water soaked towels to all other areas of the body
Seasonal foods in Arizona!
Corn, summer squash, watermelons, cantaloupe, peaches, strawberries, lettuce, parsnips and sweet corn, green beans, tomatoes and peppers.

It's strawberry season, and time to stock up on one of America's most cultivated berries.  Eating strawberries helps to protect your heart, increases HDL cholesterol, lowers blood pressure and guards against cancer.  They are full of vitamins, fiber and high levels of antioxidants known as polyphenols.
Choosing Strawberries..
Pick medium-sized berries that are firm, plump and deep red in color, once picked, they don't ripen further. Flavor varies with variety and ripeness.
How to Keep Strawberries..
Remove strawberries from the basket and place them unwashed, in a single layer of paper towel on a plate. Cover and refrigerate, Use within 3 days.

In the United States Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened on June 14, 1777, by resolution of the Second Continental Congress. The American Flag has many nicknames, including "old glory,"
'star-spangled banner," "red, white and blue," and "stars and stripes,"
Monsoons in Arizona
The Monsoon season begins on June 15and ends on September 30th, but the storms peak between mid-July and mid-August. On average, about half of Arizona receives about half of its annual rainfall during the monsoon. Arizona receives a statewide average of only 12.5 inches of rain per year.
If you should ever need an extra key you can make it yourself,  with the help of Locksmith in a Box, located at four corners inside the Bed Bath and Beyond Store. It is so simple, just insert your key and follow the directions. Voila! your key is made in less time than it took you to find the key guy at Home Depot.  I did it today, it was fun and fast!

Dr. Oz and Dr. Roizen suggest getting 10,000 steps a day. Use a pedometer to measure your daily steps.

Father's Day is Sunday, June 17, 2018
This is special day to honor fathers and celebrate fatherhood. It celebrates the contribution that fathers and father figures make for their children's lives. Happy Father's Day
Peoria to get hip restaurants and upscale retail shops!
An upscale Safeway, the first of its kind in Arizona is expected to anchor the commercial project, on 83rd and Avenue and Happy Valley Road called the "Trailhead."
ALDI grocery Store is planned in North Peoria!
The discount grocery store is part of a new development on Lake Pleasant Parkway near Happy Valley Road. It is expected to open in early 2020. Apparently it is a no frills shopping experience billed as a way to pass savings on to shoppers. Customers bring their own bags or purchase bags from the store. And they bag their own groceries.
Tips from the Landscape Expert!!!
June in Phoenix...
June is the driest month in the valley, plants may need more watering.
1.  Water flower beds every other day.
2.  Protect young tree trunks from sunburn.
3.  Mulch around heat sensitive plants to keep          the roots cooler and moister.
4.  Before fertilizing, make sure soil is moist.
5.  Prune bougainivillea and lantana bushes.
